YKK has been a pioneer in the development of lightweight buckles and we are constantly evolving our technology for light weight products. Our technological skill and solid work has enabled us to develop a line of products with well-balanced weight, strength, and exceptional performance. YKK is pleased to present the next generation in lightweight products, our new series of Ultra-Lightweight Buckles.

Innovative features for the new series include a shorter length, a flexible form for resistance to breakage and smoother guidance for removing, our own “Vertical Engagement System” to improve tensile strength, arm reinforcement to prevent plug legs from breaking, and a steeper angle that allows for a tighter lock and smoother tape adjustment in a single motion. All of these features allow for a lighter buckle, forty percent lighter than the standard to be specific. Although molded logos are not available on these polyacetal buckles, we are pleased to offer these products in 64 standard colors. Can’t find the color you want?
