The Arts of Fashion Foundation was created as a U.S. extension of an international student design competition, the world-renowned Concours International de Jeunes Créateurs de Mode. The Arts of Fashion Foundation is a non-profit organization that is devoted to linking academics and professionals through international cultural exchange and a variety of educational events intended to facilitate critical thinking.

Similar to YKK’s sponsorship, the Arts of Fashion (AoF) Foundation’s primary focus is the continuous support of creativity and design in fashion and the arts linked to it. YKK is elated to sponsor and support students from the beginning of their careers in the AoF Competition. The AoF competition selects students from entries in 79 schools and in 23 countries and awards scholarships and priceless experiences to winners in categories such as: fashion, couture, collections, and accessories.
